Employees Recognized for Safety and Sustainability Performance at Annual Awards Program

April 18, 2022

Recently, Chesapeake honored employee teams that attained exemplary levels of performance in safety, environmental stewardship, community service and company culture. The annual CEO Safety and Sustainability Awards recognized nine finalists across three categories, gathering employees from across the company in Oklahoma City. During the event, each team presented their nominated projects — sharing their best practices in front of award judges which included members of Chesapeake’s executive team and key senior leaders with expertise in the represented categories.

“Chesapeake is answering the call for affordable, reliable, lower carbon energy — and this purpose requires talented and dedicated employees to deliver continuous improvement,” said Chesapeake CEO Nick Dell’Osso. “Our annual CEO Safety and Sustainability Awards recognizes not only our commitment to safety, the environment and our communities, but also those teams that executed industry leading ESG programs in 2021. I want to thank the nominees for their inspiring work and for encouraging employees across our organization to innovate and drive further improvement into our ESG efforts.”
